CANGENUS™ is Cangene's patented production technology for recombinant proteins, based on the host organism Streptomyces. It produces non-glycosylated, homogeneous proteins and secretes the correctly folded and bioactive products directly into the surrounding medium. CANGENUS™ simplifies the recovery of recombinant proteins and requires no chemical modifications to obtain a cost-effective, bioactive product for in-house production and in support of contract research and development.
