WinRho® SDF is a Rho (D) Immune Globulin (Human) for Injection developed in 1968 and sold in many countries worldwide. WinRho® SDF is available as either a freeze-dried powder or a liquid formulation. WinRho® SDF is Cangene's largest selling commercial product.
WinRho® SDF is known as an anti-D product and is approved for two distinct indications. WinRho® SDF was developed by renowned pediatric researchers, Dr. Bruce Chown and Dr. John (Jack) Bowman. They gained global recognition as pioneers for treating babies afflicted with hemolytic disease of the newborn. In recognition of their achievements, both physicians were made Officers of the Order of Canada.
